Kick a Lucky Block How to Get Mutations

Mutations are rare, elite versions of your Brainrots. They feature unique visual effects (Plasma, Radioactive, Rainbow glows) and provide massive boosts to your coin production. Here is how you get them:

1. Aim for High-Tier Zones

The quality of your drop depends entirely on how far you kick the block.

Power Matters: Accumulate enough Kick Power to reach the Legendary, Mythic, or Godly zones. Iron Plate ($7.2M, +150/lift) unlocks Mythic; Ice Barbell ($350M, +400/lift) unlocks Godly.
The Perfect Kick: Timing your kick to hit the “Perfect” mark is essential to landing in high-rarity zones, which have a much higher base chance to drop mutated items.

2. Boost Your Luck

Multiple luck sources stack multiplicatively:

Mutation Luck Gamepass: The most direct way to increase your odds of a Mutation appearing when a block lands.
Server Luck / Global Events: 2×, 4×, or 8× luck buffs that fire randomly. When one activates, drop everything and spam kicks for the full window.
Perfect Kick Bonus: Every Perfect Kick adds a luck bonus on top of your base stats.

3. Survival is Mandatory

This is the most important part: you only get the item if you survive.

Even if you kick a Godly Rainbow Mutation (30×), if the Tsunami catches you, the item is lost forever.
Invest in Speed upgrades — they carry over permanently through Rebirths.
Higher zones produce faster waves. Mythic+ requires significant Speed investment.

4. The Mutation Hunting Strategy

Wait for Global Luck events — then spam Perfect Kicks into the highest zone you can survive.
Let non-mutated Mythic+ die — don't waste a slot on a non-mutated Brainrot when you could re-roll for a mutation.
Stack all luck sources — Perfect Kick + Mutation Luck gamepass + Global Event = maximum mutation chance.
